The Blake Medal is awarded to acknowledge and celebrate one outstanding New Zealand leader every year, with independent nominations for the award invited from all sectors of society.
An accompanying set of awards – the Sir Peter Blake Emerging Leader Awards, is also presented annually to six people recognised as younger leaders of considerable potential.
