The week that changed my life
I was privileged enough to attend the Youth EnviroLeaders' Forum which was held in Nelson from the 16-22 April. During this incredible week I have progressed my leadership skills and made great friends from all around NZ and the Pacific. Throughout this action packed 6 day forum I have enjoyed participating in many humbling activities such as cooking for NZ Masterchef winner Tim Read, volunteering at a meditation centre, sailing, snorkeling at cable bay and travelling all around the Nelson and Abel Tasman region learning about Pest eradication, Ocean health and Biodiversity of New Zealand. My memories of the forum will stick with me for the rest of my life, I am hugely thankful for this because the past week has changed my life and the way I see many of the problems we face today. The Youth EnviroLeaders' Forum has been one of the best times of my life and I enjoyed every second of it. I cannot thank the Sir Peter Blake Trust, organisers, chaperones and other delegates enough for this amazing opportunity. You are all amazing and I hope our paths cross again one day.
