Paice Vaughan

Paice, 18, grew up in West Auckland, out on the black sand beach of Muriwai, surrounded by nature on the wild and rugged coast. However, it was not until Paice's years at high school that he became exposed to the world of sustainability and positive change-making. Inspired by other students he had met in Auckland, Paice went on to found and lead the Kaipara College environmental group during his year as Head Boy in 2017.

Paice is currently an Ambassador for the Sustainable Coastlines Charitable Trust where he presents to the public about the significance of looking after our waters. A critical thinker and keen presenter, Paice has developed a strong passion for sparking curiosity in others about our natural world.
